This app is built to work without asking for an email, a password, or your real name. Here's exactly what's collected and why.

Device identity

On first launch, the app creates a random, anonymous identifier for your device (no personal information attached) so your groups, purchases, and generated decks can be saved and restored on that device. This identifier isn't shared with anyone else and isn't used to track you across other apps or websites.

Purchases

Deck, bundle, and subscription purchases are processed by the App Store. We keep a record of what was purchased, the price, and when, tied to your device identifier — this is what lets you keep access to things you've bought.

Content you create

If you generate a custom deck, the topic you type in is sent to our server and, from there, to the AI provider generating the questions (Anthropic or OpenAI). If you use your own API key ("BYOK"), that key is stored only on your device and sent directly with each request — we don't store it on our servers. Generated decks are saved to your device identifier so you can play them again later.

Group members

Names, chosen avatars, and difficulty settings you enter for players in a group are stored so scores, streaks, and trophies can be tracked over time. This information is only visible to whoever has access to that group's device.

What we don't do

• No third-party advertising or ad tracking.
• No selling of your data to anyone.
• No access to your contacts, location, or photos.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on the web: open Settings and tap Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your profile, stats, streaks, trophies, groups and made sets, and signs you out everywhere.

Purchase records are kept, with your personal details removed, because we are required to retain them for financial record-keeping. Decks bought through the App Store belong to your Apple ID and can be restored from Settings.
